Dr. Don Jayne
NUBODYZ Role: Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach
Age: 60
Don is a Dentist in the Seattle area. I first met Don when his wife dragged me down stairs to see the fitness equipment that had not been used in years. They invited me to their home for a consultation the next day.
Don’s biggest obstacle was and is his heavy work schedule. Don not only works at least 12 hours daily running his dental practice but also lectures around the world.
Therefore, the immediate goal was to first find time for him to exercise. Based on his long stressful work days which leave him drained of his fitness motivation, this time was 6:00 am in the morning. We also had to implement an eating strategy for him so that he would have the energy and stamina to not only workout but also have the power to perform on his job. Don continues to workout, stay consistent and smile while doing his early morning routine.
Karen
NUBODYZ Role: Trainer for about three years and friend
Age: 44
I have known Karen for over 13 years; she is an avid runner that wanted to enhance her fitness level. Karen immediately noticed that her running times decreased as she started to get stronger. Although she has a great body, she noticed that her figure was also improving. This meant she has maintained at her age of 44 the body of a 24 year old. This achievement of having a body that looks 20 years younger was realized through proper fitness, eating and nutritional guidance. Karen’s favorite quote she says to her clients is “if I could train my face with dumbbells it would stay as young as my body”. Of course, Karen is still a beautiful woman.
I am happy that by being her personal trainer she has been inspired to be trainer now. Women’s Ultimate fitness in Washougal, Washington.
Crissy
NUBODYZ role: Fitness Coach
Age 40
Crissy is a human resource specialist. She is married and has a young daughter. I consulted Crissy at work because it was convenient for her. She was looking to increase her energy and lose weight. We started with putting her in a position to do less while still making progress. Crissy is doing whatever it takes. She brings her exercise clothes to work with her and walks for about thirty minutes during lunchtime. She then goes home and does her strength training. I coach Crissy over the phone or via email. She stays positive and energetic and loves the direction her work-life and body is going.
Lisa
NUBODYZ Role: Fitness Coach
Age: 40
Lisa is a service worker and personal coach. When I met with Lisa, she wanted to drop a few pounds and improve her energy level. She does not like to focus on her weight so we did not. Our focus instead was to apply the steps it takes to make her body fitter, which means she will lose weight and improve her fitness without stressing about it. Lisa is very upbeat about her results so far (which is 5 pounds in 21 days) and she looks forward to much more success. Lisa is always upbeat and positive!
